The UFC has added another good fight to what is shaping up into a very interesting event in Portand.
UFC Portland goes down in the Moda Center on April 11th, and marks the UFC’s first return to Oregon in many years. While the headlining heavyweight bout between Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris might not be a massive draw, the card is filling out nicely and could end up being quite deep.
With that in mind, the promotion added a solid middleweight contest between Eryk Anders and Krsyzsztof Jotko to the event earlier today.
Anders (13-4, 5-4 UFC) is on a two-fight winning streak, coming off a close split decision win over Gerald Meerschaert in October. He is currently unranked, but that might have something to do with him jumping between 185 pounds and 205 pounds a couple of times.
Jotko (21-4, 8-4 UFC) rebounded from three straight losses by picking up wins over Alen Amedovski and Marc-Andre Barriault in his last two outings.
Also currently scheduled for UFC Portland so far. is a women’s strawweight bout between Carla Esparza and Michelle Waterson, along with a welterweight bout between Vicente Luque and Randy Brown.
