Anderson Silva talks about his brief encounter with Michael Bisping during a media scrum, and believes ‘The Count’ should talk less and fight more.
Anderson Silva wasn’t bothered too much by his verbal fight in front of the cameras with Michael Bisping. Instead, the former UFC middleweight champion told Combate he prefers to focus on the actual fight.
Plus, he believes Bisping only acts that way out of frustration since he was never able to fight for the title himself.
“It’s normal. It doesn’t bother me. Bozo the Clown just had to make a little show. He never had the chance to fight for the title, because he is not as good as he thinks. I understand his frustration. Only now he got the opportunity to fight me, so he needs to milk it. He should talk less and fight more inside the cage. I’m not the tiniest bit concerned about that. In there, everyone is equal. When that door closes, it will be a war. It’s going to be just the two of us in there, he will have nowhere to run.”
Anderson Silva is scheduled to take on Michael Bisping in the main event of UFC Fight Night 84, on February 27, at the O2 Arena in London, England.
