After dropping two straight fights, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Strawweight champion Jessica Andrade will be making the move to Flyweight.

According to MMA Junkie, her first fight in the division will be against former title contender, Katlyn Chookagian, as the two have been booked to throw hands against one another at an upcoming “Fight Night” event on Oct. 17, 2020 likely to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Chookagian is fresh off a win over Antonina Shevchenko this past May at UFC on ESPN 9 in “Sin City.” Prior to that, “Blonde Fighter” was knocked out by Antonina’s sister, current women’s Flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 247.

Andrade — who was champion for only three months after getting knocked out by current division queen, Weili Zhang, in just 42 seconds at UFC Fight Night 157 — is hoping for a fresh start after previously losing to Rose Namajunas at UFC 251 last July.

The “Fight Night” event is set to be headlined by a heavily-anticipated Featherweight showdown between Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung.
