Ben Askren continues to diss Kamaru Usman on social media.
UFC newcomer Ben Askren is at it again, this time claiming that he’d retire if he was ever knocked out by newly-crowned welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
Askren, who submitted Robbie Lawler in a highly controversial bout at UFC 235, said ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ ‘can’t punch worth a damn’ in response to a derogatory comment posted by Twitter user @se7enbizzos.
If Marty KOs me I would literally retire, look at his record he can’t punch worth a damn https://t.co/R26lbZ3WOa

Usman has won six fights via knockout, but only one KO under the UFC banner. The Hard Knocks 365 fighter knocked out Sergio Moraes back in 2017.
Askren, the former ONE FC and Bellator welterweight champion, has never been knocked out in his career. ‘Funky’ is undefeated at 19-0 but was almost finished by Lawler after being dropped and hurt in the opening seconds of the first round. Askren came back to win via bulldog choke, but ‘Ruthless’ never tapped out.
Usman thrashed Tyron Woodley in the UFC 235 co-main event to capture the welterweight title. The 31-year-old’s first title defense is expected to be against Colby Covington. Usman and Covington were kicked out of the Palms Resort last Sunday after getting into a heated physical altercation while queuing up at the buffet.
