UFC CEO Dana White is “trying to assassinate” Jake Paul.

That’s according to the pugilist formerly known as “The Problem Child,” who continues to rack up boxing wins over shopworn UFC headliners. His most recent victory came at the expense of former UFC welterweight Mike Perry in Tampa.

“They’ve been trying to assassinate me,” Paul claimed. “They don’t want me in this sport. They hate that I run this sport, but when you try to assassinate a guy like me, it only makes me bigger. I’m on a mission from God, a servant of God to save this sport. And that’s exactly what I will keep doing. Keep on winning, keep on fighting.’’

White blamed the media (as usual) for making mountains out of molehills, which contradicts his previous claims that media members were “tired” of Paul’s shtick and went on to be unprofessional scumbags somewhere else.

“Let me tell you something about the Jake Paul thing,” White told TNT Sports. “The media just eats all his bullish*t and they actually print it, it’s the weirdest thing ever. I didn’t even know Jake Paul was fighting, I was on vacation in Italy, I had no idea. I stopped paying attention to Jake Paul when he lost to (Tommy) Fury. When he fought someone that was his age and actually boxed, he lost.”

Paul previously threatened to drop White if they ever crossed paths in person.

“I’m not sh*tting on the kid, I don’t even think about him anymore,” White insisted. “It doesn’t even cross my mind. I have no beef with him. ‘They’re trying to get me assassinated!’ Nobody’s trying to get you assassinated, especially me. I literally don’t ever think about him anymore. It’s all bullish*t.”

I guess that means we’re never getting this fantasy fight.
