A premium bantamweight fight will go down in Anaheim in August.
UFC 241 has been beefed up with another potentially great fight. This one comes in the bantamweight division, when top-ten fighters Raphael Assuncao and Cory Sandhagen will go at it. ESPN’s Ariel Helwani confirmed the news:
Cory Sandhagen vs. Raphael Assuncao scheduled for UFC 241 on Aug. 17 in Anaheim, per multiple sources.

Assuncao (27-6, 11-3 UFC) is coming off a submission loss to Marlon Moraes in the UFC Fortaleza headliner back in February. That loss broke a four-fight winning streak, and derailed his chances at a title shot for the near future.
Sandhagen (11-1, 4-0 UFC) picked up the biggest win of his career with a split decision victory over John Lineker last month in Florida. That got him into the 135-pound rankings, where he currently sits in the eight spot.
UFC 241 goes down on August 17th in Honda Center in Anaheim, and will be headlined by a rematch between Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight title. Also set for the card is the return of Nate Diaz, who will fight Anthony Pettis at welterweight.
