Watch the best moments from the UFC 268: Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington press conference in eight minutes.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will stage its final pre-fight press conference this evening (Thurs., Nov. 4, 2021) to promote its blockbuster ESPN+-streamed pay-per-view (PPV) event this weekend (Sat., Nov. 6, 2021), UFC 268, started at 5 p.m. ET in the video player further below.
Above, you can watch the entire one-hour long press conference compiled into it best (or worst) eight minutes. From Zhang Weili and Colby Covington becoming BFFS, to “Chaos” going at it with “Pink Suit Guy.”
And it was lit, if not a total, tense circus. That’s because top-ranked Welterweight contender, Colby Covington, had an open mic and said really outrageous crap, while 170-pound champion, Kamaru Usman, occasionally sat back and provided several passive-aggressive reminders (like this one) regarding their first encounter.
The full list of UFC 268 press conference participants, which was free and open to the public inside Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., included:
- UFC President, Dana White
- UFC Welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman
- No. 1-ranked Welterweight contender, Colby Covington
- UFC women’s Strawweight champion, Rose Namajunas
- No. 1-seeded women’s Strawweight contender, Zhang Weili
- No. 2-ranked Lightweight contender, Justin Gaethje
- No. 4-seeded Lightweight contender, Michael Chandler
In UFC 268’s co-main event, women’s Strawweight champion, Rose Namajunas, will collide with former division queenpin, Zhang Weili, in an immediate rematch. Other big bouts on the card include Justin Gaethje vs. Michael Chandler, Shane Burgos vs. Billy Quarantillo, Frankie Edgar vs. Marlon Vera and Al Iaquinta vs. Bobby Green.
And let’s not forget about the highly-anticipated debut of former two-division GLORY kickboxing champion Alex Pereira!
