A pair of veteran bantamweights who like to throw down will tangle at UFC on FOX 10.
Eddie Wineland and Yves Jabouin will tangle in a match of divisional significance on Jan. 25 at Chicago’s United Center. The Chicago Sun-Times broke the news on Thursday.
Wineland, the former WEC champion, is coming off a knockout loss to interim champion Renan Barao at UFC 165. The Indiana native is 20-9-1 and has 15 of his 20 career wins via stoppage (10 knockouts, five submissions).
Jabouin (19-8), meanwhile, is a 34-year-old Tri Star fighter who has won four of his past five fights. Eleven of his career victories have come via KO/TKO. His last victory was a split decision against Dustin Pague at UFC 161.
