Check out results and video from tonight’s Bellator 148 card. You’ll like the knockouts.
Bellator 148 is in the books, and the main card delivered three thunderous knockouts. Paul Daley set up his fight with Josh Koscheck, Chris Honeycutt isn’t undefeated any more, and Ryan Couture may not have woken up yet. Here’s how it all went down.
Paul Daley defeats Andy Uhrich by knockout (punch), 2:00 of round 1
Bellator got the Semtex highlight they wanted. After a relatively slow start where Uhrich looked to grapple, Daley got some room at range and teed off. After connecting with a right, he blasted his opponent right up the middle with a pseudo-uppercut that sent Uhrich falling to the mat. Daley immediately went over to talk smack to Josh Koscheck at cageside. Here’s the awesome finish.

Paul Bradley defeated Chris Honeycutt by TKO (strikes), :40 of round 1
Their rematch was pretty one-sided, and it ended quickly. During their first bout (which went to a No Contest), Honeycutt wanted to wrestle. This time he was cool with striking, and that was his downfall. Bradley caught him with either a right hand or an elbow that sent Honeycutt to the mat. He got up, but Bradley unloaded with some more big shots that sent him sprawling again. A few more on the ground brought an end to the fight in just 40 seconds. Here’s the finish.

Patricky Freire defeated Ryan Couture by knockout (punch), 3:00 of round 1
Couture never really got anything going in this one. The whole thing was contested on the feet, with Pitbull taking his time to land the right shot. After a couple of minutes he connected with a hard right that backed Couture way off, then a few seconds later he landed a beautiful short left hook that send his opponent into unconsciousness. Check it out.

Tony Johnson defeated Raphael Butler by TKO (strikes), 4:24 of round 3
This one was not pretty. Butler had a decent first round, but Johnson grappled his way through the rest of the fight. He bodied him against the cage in the second, and spent and extended amount of time on the ground. He also got a very quick takedown in round three and did more of the same. Butler didn’t look like he was in much danger, but Mike Beltran called off the fight for some reason after some light punches.
