Bellator 161 “Kongo vs. Johnson” takes place Sept. 16, 2016 at H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas. A hard hitting heavyweight main event has already been signed which pits longtime veteran Cheick Kongo (24-10-2) against rising prospect Tony Johnson (10-2).
Bellator is not resting on that fight alone to sell the card. They’ve added the sexy Anastasia Yankova to the main card, but not so she can get more inappropriate pics by social media. The only attention they want is eyes glued to TV sets.
Yankova is as good at fighting as she is at getting attention from her fans. She sports a 3-0 record in mixed martial arts (MMA) which includes a one-sided debut against Anjela Pink at Bellator 152.
As her profile increases so will her level of competition, and Veta Arteaga (2-0) won’t be looking to end her unbeaten streak either. She earned a unanimous decision over Jackie Vandenburgh at Bellator 155 and is hungry to fight again.
