Bellator 17’s lightweight tourney semifinals include Huerta vs. Curran, Imada vs. Vanier

When Bellator Fighting Championships heads to Boston on May 6 for Bellator 17, the lightweights take center stage.

Bellator founder and CEO Bjorn Rebney today announced that the event, which currently boasts a non-title “super fight” between current lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez and UFC vet Josh Neer, also features the semifinal round of this season’s lightweight tournament.

Today’s unveiled matchups include Roger Huerta vs. Pat Curran and Toby Imada vs. Carey Vanier.
