The headliner for the card was supposed to be an alternate Heavyweight Grand Prix bout between Roy Nelson and Mirko Cro Cop, but Cro Cop badly injured his leg and was forced out of the fight. So the co-main, a middleweight title fight between champion Rafael Carvalho and challenger Gegard Mousasi, will serve as the main event instead. The new co-main will see Michael Page and David Rickels square off.

Rafael Carvalho vs. Gegard Mousasi [MW Title]
Round 1 – Mousasi with a side kick. Outside leg kick. Outside leg kick from Carvalho. They trade head kicks, both of of which were blocked. Mousasi catches a kick and charges in for a takedown. Carvalho back up quickly, but he’s right back down. Carvalho looking for a kimura from the bottom but can’t secure the arm. After some time on their feet in the clinch, Mousasi dragged him back down. He passes to mount with 2:15 to go against the cage. He’s landing a few punches. Carvalho gave up his back. Huge punches from Moose.
It’s over.

Michael Page vs. David Rickels
Round 1 – A lot of goofy dancing to start. One-two from MVP after 75 seconds of nothing. Another jab. Lead right uppercut. Rickels gets tagged with two flurries of punches. Rickels with a counter right. Spinning heel kick from Page that was blocked. Page is clowning again. Step-in side elbow. Rickels gets dropped by a punch. He’s back up and Page just stares at him. Rickels misses with a spinning back fist. Another combo scores and MVP dances. 10-9 Page.
Round 2 – Page with a side kick to the head. A right lands for Page. Rickels is bleeding profusely. He just gave up. He’s walking around the cage and he’s telling the ref that he quits. The ref doesn’t get it for a few seconds, but he does now. That was kind of pathetic.

Aaron Chalmers vs. Ash Griffiths
Round 1 – Leg kick by Griffiths. He looks for a takedown but gets stuffed by Chalmers. After some work, he gets Chalmers down to his butt. Griffiths lands a borderline illegal knee as Chalmers comes up. Chalmers fires back with a left and drops Griffiths. He’s up, but Chalmers snatches up a nasty guillotine. Griffiths taps out.

Round 1 – Shipman drops Noon with the first punch of the fight. He jumps on him and pounds him out. Well that was easy.
Mike Shipman defeated Carl Noon via KO (punches), :11 of round 1
Anastasia Yankova vs. Kate Jackson
Round 1 – Leg kick from Yankova, and a gain. Jackson clinches. Knee from both ladies. Jackson tries to drag Yankova down, but Yankova stays on top. Not for long, as Jackson reverses and passes straight to mount. Yankova gives up her back. Jackson with punches as Yankova turtles. She sinks the hooks and lays back to secure a choke, but Yankova rolls over into her guard. Jackson immediately pushes her off and takes the top again. She gets the back and lands two hard punches. Only halfway through the round. Jackson still softening her up. More punches underneath the arm. Yankova just holding onto one of Jackson’s arms. She pins her head against the cage and lights Yankova up. Back to half guard with elbows. 10-8 Jackson.
Round 2 – They clinch immediately. Jackson with some knees to the thigh. Jackson scoops her up and tries to slam her, but Yankova actually ended up on top – for about a second. Jackson working from half. Yankova gets back up, but they end up right back in the clinch. Jackson looking or another takedown but can’t get it. Jackson won’t give her any room to breathe. Jackson attacks a leg. Yankova lands two punches. She is trying to work elbows now. 10-9 Jackson.
Round 3 – Yankova comes out throwing but gets tied up against the cage quickly again. The “action” quickly stalls out. Jackson lands a left but they stay in the same area of the cage. Yankova tries to fight her way out again but Jackson is just a standing blanket. Finally they go to the mat, with Yankova on top. She gets out to side and looks for a crucifix. She’s not throwing anything though, she’s just trying to trap an arm. Jackson stands up, goes back down, then takes top position. She mounts her with 35 seconds to go. Yankova gives up her back. She’s throwing punches. Flattens her out. Big elbows. The horn goes before she can finish. 10-9 and 30-26 Jackson.
Kate Jackson defeated Anastasia Yankova via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 29-27)
Round 1 – Vassell with an outside leg kick. Davis with one of his own, but Vassell caught it and lands a punch. Davis gets loose and lands an uppercut. Double jab from Mr. Wonderful. Vassell with a leg kick and front kick. They trade kicks again. Vassell catches another kick but Davis got loos and briefly takes him down. Vassell is up but stuck in a front headlock. He pops out. Two more leg kicks from Vassell. Davis with a right as Vassell lazily spins. Another right over the top. Vassell lands a right hook behind the ear. Davis staggers Vassell with a right as he throws a kick. Body kick from Davis. He lands two knees and a right. 10-9 Davis.
Round 2 – Slow start. Inside leg kick from Davis. Vassell trying to jab. Inside leg kick from Vassell. He kicks the inside of of the other leg and lands a straight left. Davis catches a kick, lands a punch to the abs, and drags Vassell to the mat. He takes the back. Nice punches. Vassell squirms away and gets to his feet. Davis keeps him tied up against the fence and lands a barrage of knees. Vassell’s mouthpiece falls out. Eventually the ref separates them and gives Vassell back his mouthpiece. Vassell gets behind Davis and gets a surprising takedown. Davis dumps him right off though and works from his back. Now Vassell reverses and gets another takedown. Davis throws him over the top and they return to the feet. Head kick from Davis. 10-9 Davis.
Round 3 – Davis with a straight right. Both are trying to land jabs but not really succeeding. Inside leg kick from Vassell. Davis with a left and a huge head kick! Vassell collapses to the mat and Davis lands one more punch (that actually misses) before the ref steps in. That was nice.
