Carrington Banks was out before he hit the floor.
Tristar MMA prospect Mandel Nallo opened up the Bellator 207 main card with one of the most sensational finishes you’ll see all year.
The undefeated Canadian took on fellow prospect Carrington Banks, and after being aggressive with submission attempts in round 1, Nallo switched things up in a big way in the next round. A well-timed knee caught Banks right on the jaw, and he was completely out cold before hitting the ground. It is an undeniable KO of the Year contender from Nallo, who moves to 7-0 in his professional career, while sending Banks to his second pro defeat.

Hopefully we see Nallo fighting more often. He made his debut in 2012 and has fought just seven times (winning all of them by stoppage). The only time he’s competed twice in a calendar year is 2014, but since then he’s been on a once-a-year schedule. Between Nallo’s vicious knee and Mike Kimbel’s six-second KO, up-and-coming talent has really shined on this Friday night in Uncasville, CT.
