On the 14th of June, 2019, Bellator featured the next stage of their Welterweight Tournament with a “World Grand Prix Semi-Final Welterweight Title bout” between well-rounded Rory “Red King” MacDonald and up-and-coming submission specialist, Neiman Gracie; with the winner taking the title to the finals to meet Douglas Lima.
The event shown exclusively on DAZN was brought to us from Madison Square Garden, with the Main Card starting at at 10PM ET.
The co-main event was also of note, consisting of a Light Heavyweight battle between MMA legends, Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida and Chael Sonnen.
