Check out the betting odds for tonight’s Bellator 246 main card, where the 13-0 Patchy Mix is favored over the 24-2 Juan Archuleta to capture the vacant bantamweight belt in the main event.
Bellator 246 is on the chopping block this Saturday (September 12th) from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The top of the billing will crown a new bantamweight champion when the 24-2 Juan Archuleta faces the undefeated 13-0 Patchy Mix. In the co-main event slot of the evening there will be a battle of superb welterweight grapplers when Jon Fitch locks horns with Neiman Gracie. Bloody Elbow is here with the betting lines for these fights as well as the rest of the Bellator 246 main card.
Despite giving up a bit of experience to elite competition, the oddsmakers are liking them some Patchy Mix over Juan Archuleta. A straight up wager on Patchy comes at a favored cost of -180, while Archuleta is currently being offered up as a +150 underdog.
Mix sure is a sub-hunting specialist who has finished 10 of his 13 fights, but he is still somewhat untested against the upper echelon of the sport. Archuleta on the other hand is more of a generalist than a specialist and has a reduced finishing rate of 50%, but He has faced much better competition in the form of Bellator champ champ Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, former bantamweight king Eduardo Dantas, and the heavy-handed 145-pound contender Henry Corrales. The odds are suggesting that this vacant title fight will not be needing 25-minutes to determine a winner. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ comes at a cost of -165, with the option ‘Fight goes to decision’ holding a underdog line of +125.
We’ve got a pick’em fight between welterweight grapplers in the Bellator 246 co-main event when the 32-7-2 veteran Jon Fitch meets the 9-1 Neiman Gracie. Fitch can still be found at both plus and minus lines, anywhere from -110 up to +125. Gracie is only being offered up at a minus line around -120. The bookies believe that someone’s getting finished in this one. Gamblers can lay the price on the exotic wager ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ at a moneyline of -185, or take the price on ‘Fight goes to decision’ for a value of +145.
Also on the main card, MMA pioneer Liz Carmouche is a massive -515 betting favorite over the +375 underdog in DeAnna Bennett. Before that, the 8-0 undefeated Keoni Giggs holds a favored -145 moneyline over the 20-10 +115 underdog in Derek Campos.
The Bellator 246 main card can be seen live on September 12, 2020 on the Paramount Network at 10:00 PM ET, with the prelims streaming online at 8:15 PM ET.
