Bellator Fighting Championships features it’s fifty-sixth event tomorrow from Kansas City, Kansas.

Saturday’s Bellator 56 event is scheduled to showcase the promotions Season Five Heavyweight Tournament Semifinals and the first Bellator welterweight title defense of champion Ben Askren.

Askren meets season four tournament winner Jay Hieron in the nights main event, while tournament heavyweight pairings see Eric Prindle take on Ron Sparks, and injury replacement fighters Thiago Santos and Neil Grove are also set to meet in the other semifinals matchup.

Bellator 56 is scheduled to take place on October 29 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. The main card is scheduled to air live on MTV2 in the U.S. (on EPIX in HD), and in Canada on theScore, beginning at 9pm EST. The shows preliminary card will stream live at Spike.com beginning at 7pm EST.
