Douglas Lima initially came in fourth-tenths of a pound heavy for his
Bellator 57 headliner at today’s official fighter weigh-ins, but with
extra time, he successfully made the 171-pound limit.
He’s now cleared for his welterweight-tourney finale.
His opponent, Ben Saunders (170.4), and middleweight-tourney finalists
Alexander Shlemenko (185.6) and Vitor Vianna (184) also successfully
made weight at the festivities, which took place at Casino Rama in Rama,
Ontario, Canada.
