While current Bellator Fighting Championships lightweight titleholder
Michael Chandler will defend his belt against Rick Hawn later this year,
eight men on Friday night will embark on a quest to earn a future shot
at the belt.
All eight competitors in Bellator’s upcoming season 7 lightweight
tournament, including big-show veteran Rich Clementi and undefeated
prospect Alexander “Tiger” Sarnavskiy, made weight for Friday’s Bellator
77 event.
Thursday’s ceremony took place at Reading Eagle Theater in the Sovereign
Center Reading, Pa.
