The official weigh-ins for Thursday’s Bellator 89: Dantas vs. Galvao event took place late last night at midnight as a result of North Carolina Boxing Authority regulations.

The NCBA requires fighters competing twenty-four hours past the original weigh-in time to hit the scales a second time, with the restriction that they cannot have gained more than thirteen pounds.

All twenty competitors for Bellator 89 were on weight including bantamweight champ Eduardo Dantas (134.6) and opponent Marcos Galvao (134.7).

The event also features the opening round of the Season Eight Middleweight Tournament and a shot at newly crowned champ Alexander Shlemenko.
