If most of those names don’t pop out at you, that’s because the majority of those combatants were a part of Bellator’s “European Series” roster. Naturally, the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on the promotion as well, allowing Scott Coker and Co. to stage only four international events since Feb. 2020.
Bellator returns to action this Friday night (May 7, 2021) with Bellator 258, featuring a Bantamweight title fight between Juan Archuleta and Sergio Pettis. In the revamped co-main event, Anthony Johnson will face Jose Augusto (not Yoel Romero).
