The L’Auberge du Lac Casino Resort in Lake Charles, La. hosted Friday’s weigh-ins for Bellator Fighting Championships 45 event with sixteen fighters hitting the scales.
The venue also hosts Saturday’s live event, which will feature the crowning of Bellator’s first ever light heavyweight champion. Fans can catch the main card beginning at 9PM EST (6PM PST) live on MTV2 in the U.S. and on theScore in Canada.
Squaring off in the light-heavyweight final are Season Four finalists Richard “Rare Breed” Hale (204.4 lbs) and French striker Christian “Tonton” M’Pumbu (199.4 lbs).
While Season Four featherweight finalists Patricio “Pitbull” Freire (145.8 lbs) takes on Daniel Straus (145 lbs) for a chance at the $100K payday and a shot at current champ Joe Warren.
