Check out the fight card lineup for Bellator Japan: Fedor vs. Rampage, set for December 28th in the Saitama Super Arena.
Bellator MMA has partnered with RIZIN for a special end-of-year show in the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. In the main event, the legendary Fedor Emelianenko and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson square off in a heavyweight special attraction. This has been billed as Fedor’s final fight in Japan, so he’s looking to bid farewell on a high note.
The co-main event was supposed to be a rematch between former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler and Benson Henderson, but Henderson withdrew and has been replaced by Sidney Outlaw. We also get to see Michael “Venom” Page against UFC veteran Shinsho Anzai, as well as welterweight contender Lorenz Larkin against Keita Nakamura, women’s flyweight contender Ilara Joanne versus Kana Watanabe, and submission specialist Goiti Yamauchi taking on Daron Cruickshank.
Technically this card is Sunday, December 29th in Japan, but the time zone difference means the main card begins at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT on December 28th in North America. We don’t know what the plans for the “postliminary card” for US viewers, but we’ll update the post when that info becomes available.
