Check out the full-fight video highlights of Fedor Emelianenko stopping Quinton Jackson in the Bellator 237 main event.
Fedor Emelianenko landed a lot of strikes on Quinton “Rampage” Jackson before knocking him out with a right hand. Rampage looked as heavy as ever, and not in a good way, and seemed rather slow and sluggish. All he could really do was shell up as Fedor was throwing bombs, without much hopes of landing any return fire in time. This is actually the first time Jackson has been stopped with strikes since Shogun Rua did it way back in 2005. As for Fedor, on the microphone after his win, he announced that this just might be his last fight, and will ride off into the sunset on a win. At a minimum, it looks to be his last fight in Japan.
Check out Tim Burke’s play-by-play of Fedor Emelianenko knocking out Quinton Jackson:
Round 1 – Fedpr with a left. He presses with a long combo. Rampage covers up. Big right from Fedor. Jab. Rampage misses with a left. Again. Fedor tosses him to the side and opens up on him. Big body kick. Jab and a right from Fedor. Reach-in left and a body kick. Rampage hasn’t done anything so far. Fedor with another big combo but Rampage can’t fire back. Big shot and Rampage faceplants! IT’S OVER! WOW.
