Bellator’s sixth season is expected to begin this coming March with events taking place on Friday’s on MTV2 instead of Saturday’s like this past season five.

Pereira and Amoussou join Jon Koppenhaver (aka War Machine) as participants in the upcoming tournament, taking three of the eight spots.

Pereira is undefeated in his last four, going 3-0-1 and will make his Bellator debut at the event. Previous to that one loss, ‘Indio’ had been on a twelve fight win streak. The Brazilian has twenty victories by (T)KO, five by submission and six by decision.

This will be Amoussou’s first tournament after competing twice in a Bellator cage. He first fought as a middleweight last May at Bellator 45, losing via split decision to Sam Alvey, then in a 175-lbs catchweight bout at Bellator 59. At the November event, ‘Psycho’ would earn a first round TKO victory over Jesus Martinez.
