Bellator Fighting Championships has added another exciting fighter to it’s welterweight division in Montreal, Canada based Tristar fighter Nordine Taleb (6-1).
Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney announced the signing on Twitter (@BjronRebney) this past Friday.
– Happy to welcome Canada’s Nordine Taleb to Bellator. Very talented fighter with great potential.
Taleb was recently scouted as high as #4 in the world by BloodyElbow.com as part of their “2012 World MMA Welterweight Scouting Report” series.
Taleb has won five straight which includes four (T)KO finishes and one by decision over the past two years with local promotions across Eastern Canada and the United States. His most recent victory came in November, which saw Taleb earn a second round TKO win over former UFC vet Pete Sell at a Ring of Combat event in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The French born fighter may be at the peak of his career being 30-years of age, but certainly trains with some of the best welterweights in the world alongside UFC champ Georges St-Pierre and Rory MacDonald at the Tristar gym.
