This past weekend’s UFC 236 card crowned an interim lightweight champion in Dustin Poirier and an interim middleweight champ in Israel Adesanya. Naturally, betting odds have surfaced surrounding the potential title unification bouts, along with moneylines for possible matchups Anthony Smith vs. Luke Rockhold and Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier.

Online gambling site SportsBetting.ag has the currently suspended 155-pound king Khabib Nurmagomedov comfortably favored with a moneyline of -250. The undefeated 27-0 Nurmagomedov is sitting on the sidelines, serving out his punishment for a brawl that ensued following his UFC 229 win over the polarizing Conor McGregor. The newly crowned interim king Poirier sits as the betting underdog with a mark of +210. At +175, the now 25-5-1 Poirier was also a betting underdog when he defeated the UFC’s featherweight champ Max Holloway to win the vacant interim lightweight belt this past weekend. Nurmagomedov Tweeted out that he would see Poirier in September.

The website also pegs the sidelined middleweight champ Robert Whittaker as a -155 favorite to the undefeated +135 underdog Adesanya. The 20-4 Whittaker is recovering from a surgery he underwent this past February, and expects to return to action this summer. The The 17-0 Adesanya is coming off of a Fight of the Year candidate at UFC 236 in which he won a wild war with Kelvin Gastelum to become the interim 185-pound champ. With Whittaker fighting out of Australia and Adesanya out of New Zealand, this potential unification bout will likely take place down under.

The UFC’s former middleweight champ Luke Rockhold is set to follow the trend of 85’ers moving up to 205-pounds when he takes on Jan Blachowicz at UFC 239 on July 6, 2019. This matchup aside, SportsBetting.ag has peered into the future and listed the 16-4 Rockhold as a -150 betting favorite over recent light heavyweight title contender Anthony Smith. The former middleweight in Smith has been marked as a +130 underdog against Rockhold, but first has a date with fellow former title challenger Alexander Gustafsson on June 1 in Stockholm, Sweden.

The UFC’s heavyweight king Daniel Cormier has stated that he only has a few fights left in him before he calls it a career, and he wants one of those to be against the iconic WWE superstar/former UFC champ Brock Lesnar. SportsBetting.ag has listed the 22-1-1 Cormier as a -325 betting favorite with a +275 comeback on the 5-3-1 Lesnar. Recently spotted at this year’s Wrestlemania, Lesnar dropped his WWE universal title to Seth Rollins. Lesnar was last seen inside of the Octagon at UFC 200 when he won a unanimous decision over Mark Hunt. The result of the match was ultimately overturned to a no contest due to a failed drug test by Lesnar.
