“Bigi Boy” is no longer an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter.

No. 9-ranked UFC Heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik suffered a dreadful unanimous decision loss at UFC Saudi Arabia this past weekend (Sat., Feb 1, 2025) to former UFC title challenger Sergei Pavlovich inside anb Arena in Riyadh.

Today (Mon., Feb 3, 2025), UFC Roster Watch revealed Rozenstruik was no longer on the active roster, and MMAMania.com can confirm he has been cut even though he had multiple fights left on his contract.

While it is shocking that a top 10 Heavyweight has been released, especially in a division that is struggling to find contenders for Tom Aspinall, the writing may have been on the wall after UFC CEO Dana White criticized the fight during the UFC Saudi Arabia post-fight press conference.

“Horrible, horrible fight,” White told reporters. “Listen, we can say the fight sucked, but Sergei won. It wasn’t pretty; it wasn’t fun to watch, and it was the only fight all night to get booed.”

Rozenstruik, 36, exits the promotion with a 9-6 record and has headlined six ‘Fight Night’ cards. In his time with UFC, he scored three Performance of the Night bonuses, became the only fighter to have three knockouts of 30 seconds or less in UFC history, and has the second-fastest knockout in UFC heavyweight history (watch highlights).

“Bigi Boy” holds wins over Alistair Overeem, Junior Dos Santos, Andrei Arlovski, and Tai Tuivasa.
