Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping will continue his role as UFC color commentator, recently extending his contract with the world’s largest combat sports promotion ahead of this weekend’s return to action.

“Pleased to announce I’m signing a new four-year contract with the UFC to continue my role as commentator,” Bisping wrote on Twitter. “Beyond grateful for this role. Big thanks to Dana White. I really am obsessed with this sport and calling fights for the biggest fight promotion in history is a real honor for me.”

Bisping, who hung up the gloves back in late 2017, returns to the booth alongside Brendan Fitzgerald and retired UFC lightweight Paul Felder for the UFC Vegas 35 event this Sat. night (Aug. 28) inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC Vegas 35 will be headlined by the featherweight clash between Edson Barboza and Giga Chikadze. Elsewhere on the card, the latest round of TUF champions will be crowned in the bantamweight and middleweight divisions.
