Muhammed Lawal, who typically fights at light heavyweight, has volunteered to replace Lashley in the heavyweight bout, however, according to sources with knowledge of the situation, that fight isn’t a done deal just yet because Thompson has yet to agree to it.

The veteran Thompson (20-14, 1 NC) is undefeated in his last six fights, while Lawal (14-4, 1 NC) has won two straight.

Dubbed “British Invasion,” Bellator 134 features five Englishmen against the world on the main card. The event, which will air live on Spike TV, is headlined by Douglas Lima vs. Paul Daley for the Bellator welterweight title, and it will take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in in Uncasville, Conn.
