Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight Stephan Bonnar, who alongside Forrest Griffin helped transform the industry in The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 1 live finale, is going to be remembered for more than just his mixed martial arts (MMA) exploits.
And this shitty direct-to-torrent film.
That’s because “The American Psycho” was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in Nevada on Sunday, according to TMZ, where — after being detained by armed citizens — was booked for resisting arrest and unsafe driving, with bail set at $22,000.
Bonnar, 41, was released from his UFC contract back in summer 2014 so that he could sign with Bellator and beat the shit out of Tito Ortiz. That’s according to promotion president Dana White, who apparently had no hard feelings over this.
That appearance ended in a split-decision loss for Bonnar, who remains active in the regional combat sports scene, along with professional wrestling, following his second retirement from MMA. No word yet from the “Psycho” on this recent turn of events.
