Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight star, Stephan Bonnar, was arrested yesterday (Sun., Oct. 28, 2018) in Las Vegas, Nevada for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Indeed, thanks to some outstanding citizens, the ex-mixed martial arts (MMA) star’s vehicle was surrounded and prevented from moving any further before police took over.
And now we have his mugshot thanks to Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Per the report, Stephan was driving recklessly along Interstate 15 and exceeding speeds of 90 miles per hour. Once alerted, Nevada State troopers acted fast and were ultimately were able to apprehend the incoherent fighter. Bonnar, though, wasn’t about to go easily, as he resisted arrest before the handcuffs were eventually locked in.
Stephan was booked for felony, and his arrest signaled the third time he was charged with DUI.
Bonnar is currently in custody and had his bail set for $22,000. The ex-UFC standout is scheduled for a hearing on November 26, 2018. Due to his numerous offenses, things may not go too well for one of the original Ultimate Fighter (TUF) cast members.
Stephan last competed at Bellator 131, where he lost a split-decision to Tito Ortiz back in 2014. The defeat was his second straight, with his last win coming way back in 2011.
