No. 12-ranked lightweight up-and-comer Benoit Saint Denis will look to break into the division Top 10 when he collides with No. 10-ranked Renato Carneiro atop the UFC Paris fight card, recently announced for Sat., Sept. 28, 2024 at Accor Arena in Paris, France.
And he’ll do it as the -300 betting favorite.
That’s according to our fiscal friends over at BetOnline.ag, who pegged Carneiro as the +250 underdog. We still have over two months until fight night, so you can expect these numbers to fluctuate — in both directions — as the money starts trickling in.
If you’re a “Moicano” fan, +250 might be hard to resist.
Saint Denis (13-2, 1 NC) has not competed since a technical knockout loss to former interim titleholder Dustin Poirier, a second-round collapse that snapped a five-fight winning streak. As for Carneiro (19-5-1), he’s coming off three straight wins, including his UFC 300 comeback finish over lightweight “Tarantula” Jalin Turner.
Expect more UFC Paris fight card announcements in the coming weeks.
