Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently announced the upcoming UFC 308 pay-per-view (PPV) card, locked and loaded for Sat., Oct. 26, 2024 from inside Etihad Arena on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, UAE. UFC 308 will be headlined by the featherweight main event pitting newly-crowned champion Ilia Topuria in his first 145-pound title defense against former division titleholder Max Holloway.

Elsewhere on the card, Khamzat Chimaev will try (again) to return against ex-middleweight kingpin Robert Whittaker after previously bailing on the UFC Saudi Arabia fight card back in June. In fact, “Borz” has become so unreliable these days that he’s actually favored to withdraw from the upcoming UFC 308 lineup.

That’s according to BetOnline.ag.

Max Holloway +165
Ilia Topuria -190
(Line opened Holloway +130, Topuria -150 on July 16)

Alexander Volkov +210
Ciryl Gane -250

Aleksander Rakic +235
Magomed Ankalaev -275
Note: Odds opened with Ankalaev at -225 and Rakic +190

Robert Whittaker +165
Khamzat Chimaev -190
(Line opened Chimaev -225, Whittaker +190 on March 28)

Will the Chimaev-Whittaker fight happen at UFC 308?
Yes +100
No -140

Hopefully Chimaev doesn’t do any “hard training” for UFC 308.

Aside from the (pointless?) heavyweight rematch between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov, the betting lines have already seen significant movement since they were released over the weekend. You can expect them to fluctuate even further — in both directions — as we get closer to fight night.

Stay tuned for more UFC 308 fight card announcements in the coming weeks.
