Check out the betting odds for the highly anticipated heavyweight boxing rematch between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz
It’s almost time for heavyweight boxing titans, Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz, to do battle once again this Saturday, with this rematch taking place in Saudi Arabia. Bloody Elbow is front and center with the betting lines.
Online betting site BetOnline.ag has labeled Joshua as the betting favorite yet again, but this time with a much-much smaller line than the last time. The 22-1 Joshua is now available with a moneyline of -210. As for the 33-1 defending champ Ruiz, he is once again the betting underdog, but hardly as sizable as in their first fight. This time around, bettors can take the price on Ruiz for +190.
The first time these giants collided was this past June. At the time, Joshua was a staggering -2500 betting favorite, with a +1000 comeback on the hefty underdog Ruiz. After getting dropped in the third act, Ruiz instantly recovered and rallied to drop Joshua twice in the same round. Just when it seemed as if the then undefeated Joshua had regained his composure, Ruiz scored a set of knockdowns in the seventh frame to score the major upset victory.
The over/under for this epic rematch has been set at 7.5 rounds, which makes sense with the first collision ending in the seventh round. The oddsmakers have the ‘Over’ favored here, with gamblers able to lay the price on this prop at a cost of -150. As for the ‘Under,’ this exotic line can be acquired for a dog tag of +130.
Will history repeat itself solidifying Ruiz as one of the greats, or will Joshua get his much desired retribution to become a champion once again?
