Brandon Thatch had to pull out of his upcoming UFC Fight Night card in Tulsa against Jordan Mein.
And just in case anyone was going to doubt his authenticity, the up-and-coming welterweight posted a graphic picture of his injury onto social media.
“I’m bummed to say I have to pull out of my fight with Jordan Mein. I compounded fractured my toe yesterday,” tweeted Thatch (11-1), who included pictures of the damage in his message.
The Denver-based Grudge fighter is 2-0 in the UFC and was an injury replacement for Mein’s original opponent, Thiago Alves, who suffered a knee injury in preparation for the planned Aug. 23 fight.
No word yet on whether the company will be able to find another replacement to meet Mein (26-9).
