A welterweight clash between Brian Ebersole and Rick Story is the latest addition to UFC 167.
UFC officials announced the match-up late Saturday night.
Ebersole (50-15-1, 1 NC) returns to action for the first time since suffering an upset loss to James Head at UFC 149 in July 2012. The setback snapped Ebersole’s career-best 11-fight winning streak, which included a quartet of UFC victories over Chris Lytle, Dennis Hallman, Claude Patrick and T.J. Waldburger.
Likewise, Story (15-7) hopes to rebound from his most recent outing, a split decision loss to Mike Pyle at UFC 160. A 29-year-old veteran fighting out of Washington’s Brave Legion gym, Story carries an 8-5 record in 13 UFC appearances, having notably defeated Thiago Alves and UFC welterweight title challenger Johny Hendricks.
UFC 167 takes place November 16, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. An updated fight card can be seen below.
