A pair of injuries have reshaped the undercards on the UFC’s upcoming pay-per-view schedule, as top-15 ranked fighters Bryan Caraway and Darrell Montague have both been forced to withdraw from scheduled bouts, UFC officials announced Tuesday.

Caraway (18-6), a TUF 14 alumnus who pulled out with an undisclosed injury, was initially slated to meet streaking bantamweight prospect Lucas Martins (14-1) at UFC 170.

A replacement opponent for Martins has yet to be announced.

Likewise, 26-year-old flyweight prospect Montague (13-3), who lost via first-round knockout to John Dodson in his UFC debut, was expected to meet Will Campuzano (13-5) at UFC 171, prior to being forced to withdraw with an undisclosed injury.

Campuzano will now square off against promising knockout artist Justin Scoggins (8-0).

Scoggins, an undefeated 21-year-old who accepted the replacement fight with nearly seven weeks left to prepare, made short work of Richie Vaculik in his UFC debut last December, ending Vaculik’s night with a hailstorm of strikes midway through the first round.

UFC 170 takes place February 22, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV, and is headlined by a women’s bantamweight title bout between UFC champion Ronda Rousey and Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann.

UFC 171 takes place March 15, 2014 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, and is headlined by a match-up between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler for the vacant UFC welterweight title.
