Tyron Woodley seems to have made an enemy of UFC Brasilia’s Gilbert Burns.

It was hard enough getting Tyron Woodley to accept the Leon Edwards fight, so poor Gilbert Burns didn’t really stand much of a chance when he called out ‘T-Wood’ for a short notice fight at UFC Fight Night 170 — formerly UFC London — on Saturday.

Burns offered to step in as a replacement for Edwards, who was removed from UFC London due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Brazilian was looking to ride the momentum of his first-round TKO win over Demian Maia at UFC Brasilia but claims Woodley didn’t want to fight.

Burns vented his frustration with Woodley on social media, shaming the former UFC welterweight champ for being all talk and no action.

“Man Shame on this former champ he said He is on killer mode! No you’re not you don’t want no smoke! I will see u soon @TWooodley thanks @danawhite @seanshelby and my manager @AliAbdelaziz00 to try to make this fight! I’m always available to fight but this guys talk to much,” Burns Tweeted on Monday.

Although Woodley has yet to respond to Burns, Abe Kawa, who serves as Woodley’s manager, all but confirmed ‘The Chosen One’ never had any intention of fighting ‘Durinho’ in the first place.

Woodley is reportedly angling for a fight with Rafael dos Anjos, according to BJPenn.com, but claims Colby Covington is his ‘No. 1 choice.’

UFC Fight Night 171, which is expected to take place on March 21, is currently without a venue or main event. The London card has been utterly destroyed due to coronavirus, with 11 bout cancellations to date.
