Remember the difference we saw in Conor McGregor when he transitioned from salads to steaks? I’m not talking about the shitty cardio and poor submission defense, that was always there, I mean the stacked and jacked physique “Notorious” carried at a higher weight.
We’re seeing more of the same from Henry Cejudo.
“The Messenger” recently jumped up to the bantamweight class to challenge top contender, Marlon Moraes, for the vacant 135-pound strap, recently made available when former division titleholder, TJ Dillashaw, was popped for performance-enhancing drugs.
Speaking of special supplements, some UFC fans couldn’t help but wonder aloud if Cejudo was on the “Dillashaw Diet,” as we don’t typically see the Olympian so freakishly jacked ahead of fight night. I reckon that has more to do with his grueling weight cut, something that haunted him earlier in his career.
We’ll see how well his impressive physique helps (or hinders) his performance in the UFC 238 main event, taking place this Sat. night (June 8, 2019) inside United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
