Triple Cringe is at it again.
Despite retiring in May former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo continues to call out people who see no value in fighting him. This time, instead of proposing bouts with current UFC title holders Alex Volkanovski and Valentina Shevchenko, the former Olympian has set his sights on someone far less dangerous.
This week Cejudo took to twitter to call out none other than YouTuber/2-0 boxer Jake Paul.
Yo @jakepaul since you really think your a legit fighter by beating up on retired NBA D lister’s who really deserves a academy award for best fall. How about we fight and if I can’t stop you I’ll give all money to charity of your choice. #dontbescaredhomie pic.twitter.com/cLXKxLtNuY

“Yo [Jake Paul] since you really think your [sic] a legit fighter beating up on retired NBA D lister’s [sic] who really deserve a academy award for best fall,” wrote Cejudo alluding to Paul’s brutal KO win over Nate Robinson two weeks ago. “How about we fight and if I can’t stop you I’ll give all money to charity of your choice.”
Cejudo ended his message with #dontbescaredhomie and emojis representing his desire that Paul sign a bout agreement.
The message also included an image, with the caption: “I hear you like to pick on smaller retired athletes… Well here I am. It’s time to bend the knee… Punk!!!”
Since Paul knocked out Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. the Paul brothers have been the talk of Fight Town.
Paul has already called out Ben Askren, Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor (while ignoring callouts from Dillon Danis). And recently it was just announced that Logan Paul will be facing off with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition bout in February.
With both Pauls primed to ride the wave that is this current celebrity boxing trend, it will be interesting to see who Paul the Younger chooses as his next opponent. Don’t hold your breath for an opponent with a chance of beating him, though.
