This one should be all action.
It looks like Donald Cerrone has date and opponent for his return to the Octagon. According to a report from ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, the busiest fighter in MMA will mix it up with fellow exciting fighter Niko Price in September:
Breaking: Cowboy Cerrone (@Cowboycerrone) and Niko Price (@Nikohybridprice) have verbally agreed to meet on Sept. 19, per multiple sources. Stylistically, hell of a fight. Should be all action.

Cerrone (36-15, 1 NC, 23-12 UFC) hasn’t picked up a victory in a while, dropping his last four straight fights. The most recent one was a decision loss to fellow WEC alum Anthony Pettis in May. His last win came over Al Iaquinta in May 2019.
Price (14-4, 1 NC, 6-4, 1 NC UFC) was stopped by Vicente Luque in his last outing in May. He has alternated wins and losses in his last six bouts overall, but has picked up performance bonuses for all three of his wins in that span.
UFC 253 is currently scheduled for September 19th, but it’s unclear if that event might be moved to a different date as of now. The scheduled main event for UFC 253 is a middleweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa, but that hasn’t been officially announced by the UFC as of yet.
