A featherweight bout between Chad Mendes and Javier Vazquez has been tapped the new co-headliner of next week’s WEC 52 event, WEC General Manager Reed Harris today confirmed with MMAjunkie.com.
That spot initially was reserved for Josh Grispi vs. Erik Koch before Grispi was re-booked for a UFC 125 title fight with featherweight champ Jose Aldo.
Koch is now slated to fight promotional newcomer Francisco Rivera.
