Champ McGregor injured, Alers now meets Cesar at Cage Warriors Fight Night 7

Next week’s Cage Warriors Fight Night 7 event has lost its title fight.

Featherweight champion and fast-rising 145-pound prospect Conor McGregor has suffered an injury, and his original opponent, Jim Alers, now meets replacement Marcio Cesar.

Officials today announced the change to the Sept. 1 event.
