Henderson vs. Chandler 2 | Bellator MMA
Bellator Japan: “Fedor vs. Rampage” takes place Dec. 29, 2019, airing Dec. 28, 2019, on Paramount Network at 10 p.m. ET. Fedor Emelianenko (38-6, 1 NC) and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (38-13) will headline the card in a Heavyweight fight reminiscent of the PRIDE fighting days of old.
The co-main event will be more reminiscent of Bellator MMA of old as “Iron” Michael Chandler (19-5) and “Smooth” Benson Henderson (28-8) will rematch at a catchweight of 160 pounds. The two first met at Bellator 165 when Chandler was the Lightweight champion.

Over the course of five rounds, Henderson and Chandler had a war that was either lopsided for Chandler or razor close between both men depending on your perspective. The only round that was definitively Henderson’s was the fifth and final round, when a gassed out Chandler was both rocked and busted open by Henderson’s precision striking.
Chandler retained by 48-48, 46-48 and 48-47 scorecards in a split decision, but left unhappy with his performance that night, while Henderson left with the feeling he had won the fight but lost when the judges scored the bout. Both men have vowed to be definitive this time around.
No other bouts have been announced other than these two, but stay tuned to MMAmania.com for further updates as the Bellator Japan card develops.
