You should get used to seeing Chas Skelly on your TV screen.
The Team Takedown fighter improved to 12-1 on Saturday night with a first-round submission victory over Tom Niinimaki at UFC Fight Night 49 in Tulsa.
But now he’s decided to fight on just a two-week turnaround. Skelly will step in for an injured Andre Fili and meet Sean Soriano in a featherweight bout. UFC.com broke the news on Tuesday night.
Soriano, a Blackzilians fighter, is 8-1. Fighting as a late replacement, he lost to Tatsuya Kawajiri via second-round submission in January in his UFC debut.
No word yet on the injury suffered by Fili, a Team Alpha Male fighter.
