It’s election day, ladies and gentleman, but this might be the one place today where you won’t hear any discussion of it. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I am beyond sick of it all. Not the democratic process, of course, but I live in Washington, D.C. That means I’m next to a swing state and share a border where there are local contentious issues on the ballot. To say I’m sick of radio and television advertising at this point would be an understatement. I don’t know how you folks in Ohio or Florida do it.

So, for one and a half hours today, let’s forget all that. Let’s stick to the reason why we’re together: mixed martial arts.

Upcoming: the UFC’s debut in what is technically Chinese territory, although not territory that is quintessentially Chinese. Still, it’s an important step. I also don’t know how you guys feel about it, but 9am MMA? I can dig it.

There’s also the issue of Stephan Bonnar’s career now that all the facts are in: Hall of Famer? So-so fighter? Where does he really belong?

We can also recap all of the action from last weekend: Bellator 79, RFA 4, WSOF 1, Kyle Dake vs. David Taylor, GLORY and so much more.

And, of course, anything you want to talk about.

So join me at 1 p.m. ET to talk about these issues and more during our live chat. And thanks to the technology of Google +, now you can be a part of the chat.

As is customary, I’ll post the video window here as the event draws near and I’ll answer any questions you may have if you post them in the comments section below.

If you want to join me on Google+ and let everyone see your face, now you can. Go to today’s livechat Google + page. If you’re interested, drop a note and I’ll add you to my circles. Once you’re in, I can invite you through to the chat. Just want to participate in the comments? No problem. Participate however you feel most comfortable.

Everything kicks off at 1 p.m. ET. Talk to you then.
