Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will take the weekend off, but when the world’s leading mixed martial arts (MMA) organizaiton returns on Saturday July 7, 2018, it will do so with a bang as UFC 226 will go down from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The pay-per-view (PPV) event will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight that will see Stipe Miocic go for his fourth straight title defense when he faces off against Light Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.
Furthermore, the co-main event will see Max Holloway attempt to defend his Featherweight title for the second time when he meets jiu-jitsu ace and up-and-coming star Brian Ortega in what is sure-to-be a thrilling five-round slugfest.
Ahead of the much-anticipated event, UFC unleashed he the official UFC 226 trailer, and it’s sure to get you pumped thanks to it’s attention to detail and astounding editing.
UFC 226 will also feature another 265-pound slugfest as Francis Ngannou and Derrick Lewis finally face off inside the Octagon, while Anthony Pettis and Micheal Cheisa throw down in an interesting Lightweight scrap.
