UFC 313 is slowly coming together.

The third Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 2025 pay-per-view (PPV) is scheduled to go down on Sat., March 8, 2024, from inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, but for now, there is no main event.

MMAMania.com can confirm that the UFC planned for Alex Pereira to headline the event, but nothing is set in stone as of now.

Hopefully, “Poatan” can finally collide with Magomed Ankalaev.

While there is no main event for UFC 313 today (Thurs., Jan. 2, 2024), several matchups were reported for the PPV.

Top Flyweight prospect Joshua Van will return to the T-Mobile Arena against No. 13-ranked Bruno Silva. Octagon Update was the first report on the news.

Van (12-2) is coming off a unanimous decision win against Cody Durden at UFC 310, which got him into the Top 15 rankings. The 23-year-old is riding a two-fight win streak.

Silva (14-6-2) had his four-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing at UFC Tampa, where he lost via TKO against Manel Kape (watch highlights).

Ultimate Fighter season 32 winner Marion Santos will make his proper UFC debut against Francis Marshall. Ag.Fight reported the news.

Santos (14-1) claimed the title of “The Ultimate Fighter” when he starched Kaan Ofli at UFC Vegas 96 in one of the knockouts of the year (watch highlights).

Marshall (8-2) saved his job in his last fight when he defeated Dennis Buzukja via split decision, which snapped his two-fight losing streak. “Fire” is 2-2 in the promotion.

UFC veteran Alex Morono will look to turn things around when he collides with Brazil’s Carlos Leal. Ag.Fight also reported the news.

Morono (24-11) is riding the first two-fight losing streak of his 35-fight career. In his last outing, he lost a split decision to Daniel Rodriguez and, before that, to Niko Price.

Leal (21-6) made an impact in his short-notice UFC debut, even if it was in defeat. At UFC 308, he was screwed by the judges and lost a very controversial unanimous decision to Rinat Fakhretdinov. All 16 media members scored it for the Brazilian.

Contender Series contract winner Djorden Santos will make his UFC debut against Ozzy Diaz. Eurosport reported the news.

Santos (10-1) secured a UFC contract on season eight of Contender Series after defeating Will Currie as a heavy +300 betting underdog. The Brazilian is riding a 5-fight win streak,

Diaz (9-3) worked his way to the UFC after getting obliterated by Joe Pyfer on Contender Series in 2022. Unfortunately, Mingyang Zhang knocked him out in his UFC debut at UFC Macau (watch highlights). Diaz holds a 100% finish rate.

It wasn’t announced today, but recently, Laerte Viana MMA revealed that Brunno Ferreira will also take on Armen Petrosyan at UFC 313.

Ferreira (12-2) went 2-1 in 2024, with one of the most violent knockouts of the year when he cracked Dustin Stoltzfus with a spinning elbow (watch highlights). In his most recent outing, “The Hulk” was submitted by Abus Magomedov.

Petrosayan (8-4) was on the receiving end of one of the most unique knockouts of 2024: a double-spinning backfist, and Shara Magomedov was the one who landed it (watch highlights). The Armenian has lost two in a row.
