Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion, Junior dos Santos, has some pretty fancy footwork inside the Octagon. Unfortunately, his quick step did not translate to the dance floor and “Cigano” was recently eliminated from Brazil’s version of “Dancing with the Stars.”

That’s according to a report from MMA Fighting.

With that little side project behind him (highlights here), Dos Santos can concentrate on his upcoming main event against Curtis Blaydes, which takes place Sat., Jan. 25, 2020 on ESPN+ from inside PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Dos Santos (21-6) is looking to rebound from his first-round technical knockout loss to Francis Ngannou at UFC Minneapolis back in June. Getting thumped by “The Predator” snapped a three-fight win streak for the power-punching Brazilian, who recently recovered from a nasty leg infection (photo here).

The well-traveled “Cigano” turns 36 in January and it’s now-or-never in terms of making another run at the heavyweight title.
