Clint Hester broke his foot and had to pull out of a bout with Luke Barnatt at UFC Fight Night: Mendes vs. Lamas on April 4 in Fairfax, Va., the UFC announced Friday. Barnatt will not remain on the card. The entire fight will be scrapped and UFC Fight Night 63 will have just 10 contests.

Hester (11-4) was on a seven-fight winning streak before being upended by Robert Whittaker last November in Australia via second-round TKO. The 28-year-old Atlanta native is known for his heavy hands and finishing ability. Hester lost in the first round of TUF 17 to Jimmy Quinlan.

Barnatt (8-2) has lost two straight after starting off his UFC career with three consecutive wins. The 6-foot-6 England native is coming off split decision wins to Roger Narvaez and Sean Strickland. Barnatt, 26, fell in the TUF 17 quarterfinals to Dylan Andrews.

UFC Fight Night 63 is headlined by a featherweight contender bout between Chad Mendes and Ricardo Lamas. The co-main event will put two rising lightweights, Jorge Masvidal and Al Iaquinta, against one another. The card takes place at Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University and the prelims will begin at 11 a.m. ET.
